Google’s search for a gasolina engine could be a ‘must’
The next Google engine to hit the market may look nothing like the one Google launched on Tuesday.
In fact, it’s likely to be a completely different engine, according to a recent report from Bloomberg.
Google’s main rival for search engines, Bing, is owned by Amazon.com, which also makes its own search engine.
Google is working on a new engine, called Gasolina, that will replace Bing’s search engine with a more streamlined experience.
Google plans to release a new search engine in the first half of next year, according Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai, who spoke at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Tuesday, according the Bloomberg report.
The Google engine will be able to use the new Google-owned search engine’s native Android application.
Google has not said when it plans to roll out the new search app, which could launch as early as this summer.
The company will be aiming to have the new engine available to all Google Search users by the end of the year.
Google currently has around 10 million search queries on its site per day, according Bloomberg.
The new engine is expected to be capable of handling over 1 billion queries per day.
The Bloomberg report said the new gasolina search engine will likely be built on the existing Google search engine, which was released in 2015.
The search engine was built on top of the native Google search application, according, Bloomberg.
“This new engine will deliver better performance, and better user experiences for people, for advertisers and for users,” Pichay said.
The report said Google’s gasolina team is still working on the engine’s new design.
“They’re already building a prototype of the new version, and they’re going to release it to the public as soon as the prototype is complete,” Pischai said.
“It’ll be interesting to see how it performs.”
