How to get your new gas and diesel cars cheaper
New Jersey residents can expect to save on gas and other fuel costs in the next few months as the state begins selling low-priced gasoline and diesel engines at a discount, according to state officials.
The first of the two engines will be available for sale on Tuesday, with the rest expected to come online this week.
The discount, which was announced Tuesday, will be for the following models:2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Diesel, 16.4L, 2.5-liter turbocharged, 5-speed manual transmission, gasoline taylors swift.
The price drops to $2.49 per gallon from $3.74.
It will also be available at the pump starting next month.
The state also announced Tuesday that it will begin selling lower-priced diesel engines in January at a reduced rate.
The first of those vehicles is expected to hit the market in February.
